Mr Sik works closely with Mr Armutlu in complex, high-value international arbitration and commercial litigation and has achieved successful settlements in the High Court and Court of Appeal.
Drawing on his extensive litigation experience, Mr Sik also advises on housing disrepair matters, assisting clients in disputes arising from landlords’ failure to carry out necessary repairs and breaches of statutory housing obligations. His strong background in dispute resolution enables him to guide clients through the legal process and pursue appropriate remedies where housing conditions fall below the required legal standards.
He has a strong background in handling litigation both on behalf of, and against international clients and was integral in successfully bringing a class action on behalf of 838 Claimants against two global airline companies.
Mr Sik is fluent in Turkish and outside of work he enjoys tennis and snowboarding.
Mr Sik is also President of the Turkish Speaking Lawyers Association and works closely with the Turkish Cultural Centre.
